Off Season and Looking To 2014

This post is a reminder to all girls interested in playing JV or Varsity soccer next season. There are links to workouts and health tips on the left sidebar of this site. Staying in shape and taking your game to the next level are important to both your individual success as a player as well as the success of the team as a whole. We would like to encourage you to get in the weight room this off season, especially while we are not in an indoor league this session. Remember to train responsibly, eat healthy, and take care of your body!

Strength & Conditioning TONIGHT MONDAY FEBRUARY 11th!!!

If your Sparanza player will be playing at the High School this coming fall, it is important for them to attend the Strength & Conditioning session at the high school training center and weight room TONIGHT, Monday February 11th.

Typically, S&C sessions are held on Mondays from 6-7:15. Coach Powell has pushed back our start time to 7 PM to work specifically with our club. He has developed a customized weight training program. Instructions for this program will be given on this night and will include proper technique for maximum (and sometimes soccer specific) benefit.

Attending this session is important because it will prepare your daughter with a program designed to help girls train not only during our assigned team time, but also on their own individually.

The session begins at 7 and ends at 8:15.

Normal session times will resume after February break (6-7:15).

This program is a great off-season, no-cost opportunity to improve performance on the field.

Remember: committment in the off season is necessary for improvement!

Important!

Syracuse Indoor Soccer Center Youth League Notice:

There will be NO games during winter break...February 16th and February 23rd.  We will have games during April break.

Please arrive at least ten minutes before your game time, and make sure that you are completely prepared. Do not wait to put on your gear. Once your team takes the field, you should be ready to warm-up.
